美國籍學人John Thomas Hennessey-Niland教授於113年5月3日報到，他是美國德州農工大學布希政府與公共事務學院（The Bush School of Government, Texas A&M U University, USA）教授，研究主題為「Focus on Taiwan and Pacific Islands as Strategic Links in the Chain that Links Like-minded Nations in Asia with the United States of America, in Terms of Support of Democratic Governance, Respect for Rule of Law, Economic Dependency and Concern for Environment」，研究期間為113年5月至8月。在臺駐點機構為國立政治大學外交學系（Department of Diplomacy, National Chengchi University）。
