Samuel Pittman（皮東關）先生於2月2日報到，他是德國符茲堡大學（Universität Würzburg）博士候選人，研究主題為「The People of Xue Xuan (1389 - 1464): An Examination of the Social Networks of an Early Ming Philosopher Through his Writings and Other Historical Sources」，研究期間為106年1月至12月，在臺駐點機構為中研院近代史研究所及國立成功大學歷史學系。
