Preparation before Departure

1. Apply for a Visa. Visa-Exempt Entry Information 2. Prepare four photographs and bring account booklet from any Bank or Post Office in Taiwan.* 3. Buy medical insurance in your country to cover your stay in Taiwan 4. Notify the Center for Chinese Studies (CCS) of your arrival date and your full Name, passport number and birth date on your passport so as to receive your accidental insurance in Taiwan *For those who already possess a bank or Post Office account in Taiwan, you can just bring your booklet to the CCS with you when you come. For those who do not have an account in Taiwan yet, you will need to first go through a simple procedure of applying for an ID before you can open an account.
