Visiting scholar, Dr. Alex Grainger, has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on January 10, 2018. He is a British scholar who is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Kent, UK.
Dr. Grainger's research period in Taiwan is from January to March, 2018, at the Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences(RCHSS), Academia Sinica. His research topic is "Creating markets for the ‘mega-project’: an economic-sociological approach to rail transport, Chinese investment and land acquisition in Indonesia".
