Visiting scholar, Dr. Rafal Smoczynski, has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on March 05, 2019. He is a Polish scholar who is an associate professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Smoczynski's research period in Taiwan is from February to June, 2019, at the International Center for Cultural Studies & Institute of Social Research and Cultural Studies, National Chiao Tung University. His research topic is “Migrant Business People in Taiwan: Social Remittances and Tax Compliance.”
