Visiting scholar, Dr. Kok Meng Sim（沈國明）, has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on January 13, 2020. He is a Malaysian scholar who is an editor in chief of Persatuan Kesenian Belia Heart Towards The Sun（馬來西亞心向太陽劇坊）.
Dr. Sim's research period in Taiwan is from January to December, 2020, at the School of Theatre Arts, Taipei National University of the Arts. His research topic is “The Transmission of Taiwan Modern Drama in Overseas -- Case Study of Southeast Asian as Example. 《臺灣現代戲劇對外傳播——以東南亞研究為例》”.
