National Central Library adopts the second stage of epidemic prevention measures


Epidemic new life movement:
Loosening epidemic prevention measures on NCL library service & arts and cultural activities

In accordance with National Health Command Center, NCL will adopt the second stage of epidemic prevention measures from 9th of June. The details are as follows:

1. Patrons must have their temperatures taken and wear surgical masks when entering the library.
2. Patrons are suggested using hand sanitizer at the entrance.
3. Patrons with a temperature higher than 37.5 °C will be refused entry into the library.

Seating arrangement reverts to the original:
1. Seating arrangement in Study Room (B1), Reading Room (2F-6F) (including computer seats) reverts to the original, but seats will still be separated by plastic boards.
2. Study Carrel, Group Room, and library guide service resume applying.
3. Cozy Reading Room (2F) will reopen.
4. Seating arrangement in Arts and Audiovisual Center (including computer seats) reverts to the original.

Contact-information-based measures:
1. Cultural activities are in accordance with contact-information-based measures. The participants must register in advance, and seat distancing will be lifted.
2. Contact-information-based measures are based on the CECC guidelines for contact-information-based measures in response to the COVID-19 outbreak on 22nd of May.
