Nearly 80 scholars joined the Webinar of MOFA Taiwan Fellowship Scholars: Sessions for History and Sociology today (July 9th).
The webinar was composed of two sections with the topic "Lessons from Tuberculosis Control in China: the Workplace as a Distribution Point for Public Health Interventions" and "Chinese Intellectuals between Center and Periphery: From the May Fourth Model to Exile and Localization".
Speakers are two Taiwan Fellowship scholars: Prof. Rachel Core ( Chair of the Sociology and Anthropology Department, Stetson University) and Prof. Sebastian Veg (Professor of Intellectual History of Modern and Contemporary China, École des hautes études en sciences sociales, Paris).
Prof. Wen-Hua Kuo (Distinguished Professor, Institute of Science, Technology and Society, National Yangming-Chiao Tung University) and Prof. Ko-Wu Huang (Distinguished Research Fellow, Institute of Modern History, Academia Sinica) are invited as chairperson.
