Visiting scholar, Mr. Balys Astrauskas (白立斯) has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on February 14, 2023. He is a Lithuanian scholar who is a Ph.D. student at Vilnius University, Lithuania. Mr. Astrauskas’ research period in Taiwan is from February to December, at Center for the Humanities & Department of Chinese Literature National Sun Yat-sen University. His research topic is "Performing the Pacific Island: Place, Practice, and Matter in the Making of Oceanic Taiwan".
