Visiting scholar, Dr. Oliver Scanlan (使凱平) has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on February 8, 2023. He is a British scholar who is an associate researcher at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, Bangladesh. Dr. Scanlan's research period in Taiwan is from February to December, at Department of Ethnology, National Chengchi University. His research topic is "Indigenous Ways of Knowing, Nation-Building, and Land and Forest Governance: Comparing Indigenous Peoples’ Policies in Taiwan, India and Bangladesh".
