Visiting scholar, Dr. Junko Hoshi (星純子) has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on April 11, 2023. She is a Japanese scholar who is an associate professor at Ibaraki University, Japan. Dr. Hoshi's research period in Taiwan is from April to December, at Department of Humanities and Social Science; Graduate Program of Ethnicity and Culture, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. Her research topic is "Toward Understanding Complex Governance in Rural Taiwan: The Emergence of Diverse Community Development".
