Visiting scholar, Dr. Toby Avalos has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on June 6, 2023. He is an USA scholar who is an associate professor at Centralia College, Washington State, USA. Dr. Avalos' research period in Taiwan is from June to December, at Department of History, National Cheng Kung University and Institute of Taiwan History, Academia Sinica. His research topic is "Exploring African Contributions to the Liberation and Development of Taiwan During the 17th Century".
