Prof. Keliyan Maya is a Bulgarian scholar who is currently a professor at Institute for the Study of Societies and Knowledge at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Her research topic is "Middle Classes Lifestyle in Comparative Perspective: Taiwan, China, Japan and Bulgaria ." Her research period is from January to December, 2014. Her host institute in Taiwan is Department of Sociology, National Chengchi University.

Prof. Fung Edmund is an Australian scholar who is currently a professor at
University of Western Sydney. His research topic is "Mission Impossible? Ambassador Hu Shih in Washington, 1938-1942." His research period is from January to April, 2014. His host institute in Taiwan is Institute of Modern History, Academia Sinica.
