Visiting scholar, Mr. Iakov Mirkin has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on February 2, 2024. He is a Russian scholar who is an independent scholar. Mr. Mirkin's research period in Taiwan is from January to May, at Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica and Graduate Institute of Russian Studies, National Chengchi Universtiy. His research topic is "Decoding the Taiwan Economic Miracle: Leveraging its Experience and Best Practices for the Enhancement of Trade and Economic Cooperation between Taiwan and Post-Soviet States, and Advancing their Integration within the Asia-Pacific Region and on a Global Scale ".
