Visiting scholar, Dr. Shiho Maehara（前原志保）has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on May 3, 2024. She is a Japanese scholar who is an assistant professor at Kyushu University, Japan. Dr. Maehara's research period in Taiwan is from May to December, at Institute of Taiwan History, Academia Sinica. Her research topic is " The Formation Process of National Consciousness of "Taiwanese" in the Lee Teng-hui Era (1988-2000 and its beyond) ".
