Visiting scholar, Wolfgang Gerhard Thiele (狄阿狼) has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on March 3, 2026. He is a German scholar who is a doctoral candidate at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. Mr. Thiele's research period in Taiwan is from February to May, at the National Museum of Taiwan History, Tainan Branch. His research topic is "Forced Repatriations of Taiwanese Asylum Seekers in Japan and US-Occupied Okinawa, 1967-1970".
