The First Term Presentations of MOFA Taiwan Fellowship Scholars 2015, is open to the public, has successfully ended on May 1st. The four presenters are from 3 different countries: 1) Dr. Elizabeth Larus, Professor, University of Mary Washington, U.S.A., 2) Dr. Salvatore Babones, Associate Professor, University of Sydney, Australia, 3) Dr. Agata Ziętek, Associate Professor, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Poland, and 4) Dr. Darryl Brock, Assistant Professor, University of Bridgeport, U.S.A..
Dr. Larus presented her research on “Assessing US Reengagement in Asia: Implications for China-US-Taiwan Relations." Dr. Babones shared his findings through “Taipei 2030: Greater China's Global City?” Dr. Zietek focused on “South China Sea - The Place of Rivalry and Power Management.” Dr. Brock expressed his insights on “Taiwan's Diplomacy and Foreign Aid to Latin American Nations: An Assessment of Presidents Chen's and Ma's Differential Strategies.”
We sincerely appreciate our distinguished guests, speakers and attendees to share their opinion and foresight with us. The series of presentations have been held annually to enhance the exchange between scholars and practitioners, and this year, we plan to host 3 sessions.
