Visiting scholar Prof. Nian-tzu Cockel has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on May 14, 2015. Prof. Cockel is a British scholar who is currently an associate professor at School of Languages and Area Studies, University of Portsmouth, UK. Her research topic is "Unrealized Glory of the Nation: Chiang Kai-shek’s Aborted War Planning of Reconquering Mainland China". Her host institute in Taiwan is Institute of Taiwan History, Academia Sinica.
