Visiting scholar Prof. Maria Del Pilar Alvarez has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on January 16, 2017. Prof. Alvarez is an Argentinian scholar who is currently a professor at Del Salvador University, Salvador. Her research period is from January to March, 2017. Her research topic is "The Taiwanese Transnational Human Rights Network in the Resolution of the Issue of Sexual Slaves by the Imperial Japanese Army. A Case Study of the Taipei Women's Rescue Foundation." Her host institute in Taiwan is National Chengchi University.
