Visiting scholar Prof. Hisako Shimono has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on April 7, 2017. Prof. Hisako Shimono is a Janpanese scholar who is currently a professor at University of Kitakyushu, Japan. Her research period is from April to September, 2017. Her research topic is "How Does the Development of Cross-Strait Economic Relations Influence Taiwanese Society?" Her host institute in Taiwan is Institute of Taiwan History, Academia Sinica.
