Visiting scholar Ms. Melba Maggay has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on April 7, 2017. Ms. Maggay is a Filipino scholar who is currently a professor at Institute for Studies in Asian Church and Culture. Her research period is from May to August, 2017. Her research topic is "Taking on the Dragon Swallowing the West Philippine Sea: Some Cross-Cultural Dimensions in the China-Philippines Territorial Tensions." Her host institute in Taiwan is Center for the Advancement of the Humanities and Social Sciences, National Taiwan University.
