Visiting scholar Prof. Nian-tzu Cheng Cockel has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on April 12, 2017. Prof. Cheng is a British scholar who is currently an associate professor at University of Portsmouth. Her research period is April, July and August, 2017. Her research topic is "More than a Daily Read: A Study on the Impact of Ethnic Media on the Political Participation and Mobilisation of Migrants in Taiwan." Her host institute in Taiwan is Taiwan Study Research Center.
