Dr. Xu's research period in Taiwan is from January to March, 2018, at the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy, Academia Sinica. Her research topic is "比較被共產黨禁止的德文與中文作家－探討柏林牆兩邊與臺海兩岸的異同".
