Visiting scholar, Dr. Stephen Noakes, has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on July 22, 2019. He is a Canadian scholar who is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Dr. Noakes's research period in Taiwan is from August to December, 2019, at the Department of Political Science, National Taiwan University. His research topic is “Empire's Outposts: Chinese Aid in the South Pacific”.
