Visiting scholar, Dr. Oscar Truong (張凱德) has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on July 15, 2025. He is a French scholar who is a postdoctoral researcher at the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Lyon, Triangle Laboratory, France. Dr. Truong’s research period in Taiwan is from July to December, at the Department of Sociology, National Taiwan University. His research topic is "Democratic Grassroots Resistances Facing Authoritarianism From Taiwan To South-East Asia".
