Visiting scholar, Faisal Abdirashid Adam has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on December 26, 2025. He is a Somali scholar who is a head researcher at the Ministry of Information, Culture and National Guidance, Somaliland. Dr. Adam’s research period in Taiwan is from January to August, at the International Taiwan Studies Center, National Taiwan Normal University. His research topic is "The Influence of Somaliland–Taiwan Relations on Their Respective Quests for International Recognition".
