Visiting scholar, Fathi Jama Dahir has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on December 26, 2025. He is a Somali scholar who is an assistant at the Somaliland Presidency Office, Somaliland. Mr. Dahir’s research period in Taiwan is from January to August, at the International Taiwan Studies Center, National Taiwan Normal University. His research topic is "Assessing Taiwan's Prospective Role in the Utilization of Berbera Port: Strategic Opportunities and Geopolitical Implications in the Horn of Africa".
