Visiting scholar, M. Faruq Ubaidillah has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on February 3, 2026. He is an Indonesian scholar who is an assistant professor at the Universitas Islam Malang, Indonesia. Dr. Ubaidillah's research period in Taiwan is from February to May, at the Institute of Education, National Sun Yat-sen University, at the Foreign Language Center, National Cheng Kung University, at The Center for Teacher Education, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and at the Department of Applied Foreign Languages, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. His research topic is "Negotiating Identity and Participation in Taiwanese Universities: Narrative Case Studies of International Students in Taiwan".
