Visiting scholar, Nyein Nyein Thant Aung has registered at Center for Chinese Studies on March 3, 2026. She is a Myanmar scholar who is a researcher at the India Foundation, India. Dr. Aung's research period in Taiwan is from March to December, at the Department of Diplomacy, National Chengchi University and at the Department and Graduate Institute of Political Science, National Chung-Cheng University. Her research topic is "Cultivating "Taiwan Consciousness": Humanitarianism as a Diplomatic Bridge in Taiwan-Myanmar Relations".
